So much has happened!!!

So...since we last posted we have:
Had the flu on Halloween. Carter started it, then me, then Landen threw up 10 minutes before we were going to leave for trick or treating. Bummer!
Then Carter had surgery. To be honest we didn't know if he would actually get surgery that day because of the flu that we were passing around. But, he did and the recovery has been a great success.
Then we moved...again. This place is much better then our last. It is mold free, we have more space, it is cheaper, nicer, and the landlord is awesome. We love it here.
Then, Thanksgiving. Which was almost a bust because Carter hadn't gotten back into the sleeping groove. He screamed a good part of the day. It was terrible at first. But once he calmed down (thank you Grandma Green!) things went very smoothly and we had some fun.
Finally it was time to celebrate Christmas. We had a lot of fun this year with the kids. Landen was totally excited about Santa Claus and the idea of getting his beloved train table. Plus Daddy had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day OFF! We haven't celebrated Christmas with Daddy without the interruption of work for 4 years. So this Christmas was special.

Landen was almost in awe when he saw his train table. He loves it. It is an everything table. Most of the time cars are driving all the way around the table. Both Landen and Carter can't get enough.

Watching our new Rio movie from Santa Claus while Mommy and Daddy get ready for church.

We are members at the Treehouse and we went for their annual New Year's Eve celebration. It was kind of crazy with all the kids, but we sure did have fun.

They have a count down to noon and each child gets a goody bag. This year they had noise makers (of course) and a packet of M&M's. Carter was in heaven.

They have a new exhibit there with art and phones that talk about the art in each cubicle. Landen ran around from phone to phone.

Then there was a microscope. Daddy was a big help with that!

They also have a music room. Carter spent a majority of his time in that room. They even gave him his own sticks to play with. He couldn't get enough.

Overall 2011 was a good year. We had 2 surgeries, school, potty training (still no success), a new job, and lots of fun in between. We are excited to see what this next year has in store for us.
