Just a couple of things..

We decided to head to the mountains for a picnic on Sunday.  We took the kids to the stake camp in Eden and they loved it.  It was so much fun to get out with the fam.

Landen's Kick Buttowski pose.

Landen's first day of preschool this year.  He was so excited he could hardly stand it.  Love that boy!

Carter was pretty sure he was big enough to go to preschool.  But, I think he has learned to enjoy his time with just mommy.

The 4th of July!

I absolutely love the 4th of July.  This year Rob got to participate in all the festivities!  He has had to work the last 3 years!  So it was a lot of fun to have daddy around this year.  We went to the Riverdale parade and had a ton of fun there.  After the parade we headed to the park for rides, game, food, music, and best of all...prizes!

My boys love trains.  When they saw this, they HAD to ride.

We got some awesome prizes to take home.

After some much needed nap time we headed to the demolition derby in Ogden.  The boys had SO MUCH FUN!!  They loved watching the cars crash.  They also got really excited when something tipped over or caught on fire.  We are for sure going next year!  Thanks Arianne and Adam for the suggestion!  We had a blast!

Carter's Two!

It was Carter's birthday on Thursday and we had a party last night.  It was a lot of fun.  He was so excited to see and play with everyone that he didn't want to stop to open presents.  He was pretty upset daddy was making him sit on his lap.  Until he saw what was under the paper.

My cute grandma gave him a tractor.  Which he loves.

He wanted to plunge into this bag when he saw what was in it.

Water and sand in the same toy?!  Yes! Fun.

Rob, me and my parents got this trike for Carter.  The handle on the back lets me push and steer.  He was so excited to get on and ride!

The cake.

So excited for the cake!

I tried something new again for the cake.  Rainbow cake!  It was fun to try and I'm glad it turned out.  I got the idea from here. She always has fun things on her blog.  My next creative experiments are the Smore pies here, and the cheesecake here.  Hopefully they both turn out.  The adventure continues!

Preschool

This is part of the program.  Maxwell is the cute little boy next to Landen.  They are good buddies.  As you can see they have fun together.

Landen has really loved preschool this year.  He only went for half the year, but he loved every minute of it.  Miss Julie is an awesome teacher that makes learning really fun.  I found a flower pot like this on the blog makingmemorieswithyoukids.blogspot.com and gave it a try.  Landen was really excited to paint it with me.  I thought it was a great way to say thank you to Miss Julie for all she has done.

Last night was the preschool graduation program.  It was so so fun.  He is so cute!  I love him so much!

At the end of the program all the classes sang together.  You can see our friend Keaton on the far right.  So cute!

Landen giving Miss Julie a very excited high five.

So proud of Landen.  He is going to be really sad with preschool is done on Tuesday.  Can't wait for September!

The 4 year old and the Graduate

It was Landen's 4th birthday last Thursday.  I think he had a good day.  We had the party the day after his birthday and I know he had fun.  The whole family came to show their love for our sweet Landen.

Cute Garret!  He turns 1 in June!

He loves transformers!

Rob and I got him the Explorer.  He wasn't too sure about it when he first saw it.  But once we got it open and he saw what it could do he was excited.  He has had a hard time putting it down since.

Now this present was from my grandma and he was totally excited.

Me and my two boys.  Time flies!  I can't believe they are 4 and 2 (almost).

And last but not least...Rob finally got his Bachelor's in nursing!!!  We are totally excited to have that chapter closed.  Now we can focus on grad school.  It honestly felt like we would never make it to this point sometimes.  But Rob is a really hard worker and got it.  Onward and upward!  I'm so proud of him and all he has accomplished!

Spring!

Landen is playing soccer this year.  He has only had two games but he is loving it!

There was a lot of "Landen, run and stay by your team!"  Oh well, he is having fun.

The boys on Easter morning.  Aren't they cute?

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Saturday during nap time because Daddy had to work on Easter.  Carter was totally thrilled about the lawn mower.  He didn't even care about the candy.

Landen got a video game that he has been begging and begging for.  It is a puzzle based game.  He loves solving puzzles.  He loves it!

The morning before Easter was full of Easter Egg Hunts.  This is after the one at grandma's.  Carter couldn't wait for us to take the wrapping off of the candy.  Literally.  Rob had a dig a lot of candy out of his mouth to take paper off.

Checking out the loot!

This was baby Garret's first Easter.  He had fun "running" around with the bigger kids.

First this in the morning we went to the Easter Egg Hunt in the park here in the Terrace.  The kids had a blast.  This is after the hunt, again can't wait to eat the candy.

This picture is long long overdue!  Landen started preschool in January and this is him getting ready to walk out the door on his first day.  To say Landen loves preschool would be an understatement.  He gets so excited when I tell him he gets to go to preschool that day.  He is always excited to show me what he made that day and what letter he learned about.  So fun!

This is a picture of my rare creativity.  Me and my visiting teaching partner take turns making treats for the ladies we visit.  These are the cookies that me and my mom made for my treat.  I combined the ideas of a couple other people and got this.  My mom helped me put the idea together.  It was fun!
