Trains, trains, and more trains!

Santa brought tons of trains stuff this year for Christmas. Landen now has enough track and trains to take up pretty much our whole living room. And he is in heaven.

Daddy has been really good to help him build a track almost every waking hour.

Carter got a few things too, but at this age who needs a toy when you have a box!

And a bag with a blanket in it? Nothing beats that right?

An Early Christmas!

Landen has been asking to play Rob's real guitar a lot lately. So, last minute I came up with a brillant plan!

Santa came a few days early with a guitar!

He opened it at Rob's friend Tanner's house. Rob was planning a little jam session with Tanner and I couldn't pass up this awesome opportunity.
Landen jamming with the big boys. He was tapping, swaying, singing, and bobbing. He was so cute and excited. It was so much fun.

Don't mind the hair or the fact that some of the lights on our tree aren't working. I just thought this was a really cute picture of my adorable Landen. Santa has even more surprises up his sleeve. I can't wait. Merry Christmas!

Baby Food, Trains, and Exersaucers!

Landen LOVES trains. Anything that has to do with a train, he wants to be part of. This year the mall has this cute little train that kids can ride on. It starts by Sears and runs the whole length of the mall and comes back. He has ridden it twice now and has LOVED it. He is going to be so excited on Christmas day. I can't wait!

This was at breakfast a few days ago. This kid won't eat anything but a Pop-Tart in the morning. No matter what I try, it has to be a Pop-Tart. I just thought the picture is cute. My favorite thing about Landen is that when he smiles, his whole face smiles. Look at those eyes! Something is going on.

Carter recently aquired this new toy. He has really been enjoying it. It has been nice to stick him in while in the shower too. He is getting so big!

With the addition of his new retainer (being held in by denture glue) we have started some baby food. This is the second attempt at cereal and he isn't having much to do with the food. He still won't eat rice cereal. When he eats other food some of it ends up coming out of his nose. He pretty much hates real food. Hopefully after his surgery in February he will begin to enjoy it a little better.

My cute Carter! I just love love love this boy and his smile.

I almost forgot about Fall!

This picture just says it all! Landen wasn't too excited about eating on Thanksgiving. Not only does he not like to sit in one place for longer than 2 minutes, but he loves his uncle Braden (Michelle's husband). He didn't understand why he had to sit and eat when he could be playing with his favorite person in the world. If you'll notice he doesn't even have food on his plate yet. Dinner ended with me hauling him into my parents room for a little relaxing time with grandpa. He was much better after that.

Landen loves playing outside. My parents have some great neighbors that let Landen play around in their yard. Landen helped rake some leaves with the neighborhood girls.

They also taught him the art of jumping into a huge pile of leaves. He really enjoyed himself.

My two boys. Aren't they cute!

Carter has been pretty happy lately. He really likes to watch Landen play and lately he has been trying to join in on the fun. Soon enough I will be chasing him around too!
