Lovin Bath Time

With recent events, Landen has to take at least two baths a day. It is a VERY good thing that he loves his bath! When he sees his tub heading towards the kitchen, he knows he is about to get in the tub. He will crawl his way into the kitchen and talk to us until he is finally put in the tub. It is the cutest thing. Then he has this duck that he will dip in the water and put in his mouth. After about 5 - 10 minutes of dipping the duck and chewing, I finally take him out and the fit begins. Bathtime has become a very eventful moment in our home.

The Christmas Tree

Tonight we decorated Landen's first Christmas Tree. The first time I turned on the lights, he was in awe. He was very entertained while we put up all the ornaments, and then he just wanted to touch everything. We are so excited to celebrate this season with Landen, even if he won't remember a thing.

Family Portraits

A couple of weeks ago we got some family portraits taken. The same girl that took Landen's pictures took these. They were taken at Beus' Pond and it was a lot of fun. We are excited to finally have a family portrait.

We finally got some professional pictures taken of Landen. And these are just a couple of the many cute pictures. We had so much fun getting them taken. A girl in my ward just does them in her backyard and it was quite the experience. The first time we tried, Landen screamed the whole time. We got a couple of cute pictures, but he was so upset we couldn't get him to calm down. The second time we tried, we he was happy as long as the photographers' 4-year old daughter was laughing at him and playing with him. But, we got almost 200 really cute pictures out of the whole experience.

Bath Time!

Bath time has become quite adventurous lately. Since Landen is learning how to crawl he has decided to try it out everywhere he goes. He also discovered the faucet a few days ago and of course it went right into the mouth. When he is not rolling around or eating the faucet he is creating a pond on the kitchen floor. Needless to say, we almost need to wear bathing suits when giving him a bath.

Finally Sleeping!

Landen hasn't been sleeping very well lately (we think he may be teething). So, this is kind of what our lives have been like lately. We either have to hold him, or listen to him scream for about half an hour to 45 minutes. Needless to say, mom and dad have been quite tired lately.

Solids!

Landen started on solid foods recently and loves the rice cereal! We can't get it in his mouth fast enough. We will be trying vegetables soon and I can't wait to see his reaction.

Landen loves his new toy!

Thanks to Cindy and John, Landen now has a great toy. He loves to spin around and look at all the great things to stick in his mouth.

Landen is getting big!

We just can't believe how fast time goes by. Landen is already one week away from being 5 months old! Pretty soon we will be celebrating his 1st birthday and Rob's graduation!
