This is us waiting in the Same Day Surgery registration room. Carter is still doing okay. It gets much much worse from here.
This is in our "room." My sweet little man was in so much pain.
This is taken today, two days after surgery. He is currently off the Lortab and doing well on Tylenol. He is such a strong little guy. I am so proud of him!!

Wow Tiff! I don't know what amazes me more...the fact that he seems to have recovered so fast or how amazing the change is. He looked so cute either way. What a blessed little guy and family.
so glad the durgery went well. it is so amazing to me how well babies recover from everything. I hope thinkgs keep going so smoothly!
I'm so glad that everything went well. I wish I had been working while you were at the hospital so I could have poked in to see you. He looks great! It is a big change, and I'm sure that it is especially strange as a mom to see that much change on your own child. Best of luck that he continues to heal well. He really is a handsome boy (both before and after).

Seriously, he looks like he is doing so good for two days out of his surgery. I hope he is eating better now. He looks wonderful they did an amazing job! What a strong little man!
Just brought tears to my eyes! You guys are such examples! Carter looks so good! Please let us know if you need anything!!It takes two very special people to have to go through what you and carter are. I can't imagine as a mom having to see my little one have to go through so much. Good thing he was put in the right family!!!
